As is tradition for the world editions of the Royal, the 2023 edition is dedicated to a "Royal figure" with a spirit of the Risorgimento: Francesco Baracca.
A dedication full of meaning for Baracca's unifying value, the "Ace of Aces" of aviation but above all a man of great ideals and a source of inspiration for many. A dedication that falls in the year of the centenary of the founding of the Italian Air Force. A dedication to a man from a land of great ideals that has recently suffered a major natural disaster: Emilia-Romagna.

Friday, July 28 at 9:15 pm at the Tensostruttura Piazza Gran Paradiso - Locana, the conference will be held: “FRANCESCO BARACCA, THE HIGHEST SKYRUNNER”: the Director of the Francesco Baracca Museum in Lugo will recount the bright and profound life of the Ace of Aces, to discover a figure who left an indelible mark on the mythical identity of Italy.
